In reply to Gio. Hello, I am pregnant and have just bought a candle by Neom because I heard it’s organic, doesn’t have paraffin or mineral wax and is safe during pregnancy. I’ve looked at the small print on the bottom and it says “contains benzyl sacylicate” - am I ok to burn this candle? I know small amounts won’t harm the baby but would like your advice. Thank you x

Thanks for the post! How effective is this as a UV protectant in a leave-in conditioner? Currently using L’Oreal’s Elvive Extraordinary Oil-in-Cream, which is one serum that really “fixes” my normally low-porosity (although now high-porosity) bleached hair without weighing it down unduly. I was happy to see that it does have this ingredient in it (well, happy in the sense that it has some UV protectant, not necessarily this one).
