Noon, yes, hyaluronic acid itself is safe for fungal acne. But depending on the products, other ingredients in it may not be safe for fungal acne. This particular serum from Skindoc is safe.

For a complete list of ingredients to avoid if you have fungal acne, check out this post; https://www.beautifulwithbrains.com/fungal-acne-skincare-routine-treatment/

Meg and Clarissa, the cost of ingredients/effectiveness has little to do with the price of a product. Doctors tend to charge more because people who are used to spending a lot of money to see them would think the products crap if they were cheaper. There’s a lot of psychology in pricing.

Andrew, I couldn’t agree more. It’s so hydrating and gentle on the skin.

Yea, and Hada Labo premium has 5 types while still being <$10. This product seems way too expensive for what it actually offers.

What makes this so expensive? Especially, given the wide range of multi-weight Hyaluronic serums on the market. The Ordinary’s HA Serum has 3 weights of hyaluronic acid and is less than 1/10th the price. Even Deciem’s expensive line Niod isn’t this pricey.
