blue concealer guide

We’ve finally come to the last instalment on colour corrective concealers. We have already seen whatpink, orange, yellow and purple concealers do and how to use them, so what’s there left to talk about?

Blue concealers of course! They are kinda new on the market and I admit I did do a double take the first time I saw them, wondering what on earth blue concealer could possibly be used for?

As it turns out it’s pretty handy for those girls who use fake tan a lot…

What Are The Benefits Of Blue Concealer?

Blue concealers do two very important jobs:

1. Blue Concealers Reduce Fake Tan Disasters

Did your self tanner gave your skin an unattractive orange color? Or maybe the color’s ok but application was patchy and now some parts of your skin are darker than others? Stop panicking and swipe a blue concealer on the affected areas instead. Blue is the opposite of orange on the color wheel and as such, it can counteract and neutralize orange tones in the skin caused by self-tanners. And it goes without saying that if you spent too much time in the sun and got a bad tan, you can still use blue concealer to reduce its appearance.

2. Blue Concealers Counteract Redness And Dark Circles

Although I prefer green concealers to counteract any red patches you may have on you skin (think pimples or rosacea), blue is another valid option that does the job well. And if you have dark skin, this shade will also help you to hide dark circles.
